We need books

We Need Books is Athens' first multilingual library. It was created in 2016 with the aim of collecting books in the languages of refugees and migrants living in the country. In November 2019, we inaugurated our permanent space in Kypseli, with books for children and adults in more than 30 languages, including Arabic and Farsi. The library organizes art workshops for children and young people, a wide range of cultural events, and Greek language classes for adults.
